For 5 看图造句, is it 5 sentences based on a picture or 5 different pictures?

      5 different pictures.

      Thanks E3.

wow, thats a lot of enrichment!!

Can you give me an idea how much these enrichment costs?
so that I need to work harder .. to provide for my 4 kids,
        thanks

        david 😢 😢 😢 😢

Pls don't be too affected by what other people are doing. What I've learned at KSP is that the best learning is direct from parent to child. I know of quite a few parents whose kids have minimal tuition but are still amongst the top of cohort. Works wonders for the bonding too.

Besides, every kid is different. Some kids may even react unfavourably if overwhelmed by too much enrichment.

Hi david1234, I agreed with markfch. Just do within your means and what you deem is the best for your kids. I will not have sent ds to these enrichment prgrams :moneyflies: if I am good at teaching  .

          comfy:
When my DD was in P1, she attended abacus in one of the morning weekday around 10.30am. She would then have electone and chinese enrichment on Saturday. Sunday is free, as I would like her to have time for playing and bonding with her families.

Normally, for P1, she would try to finish her school homework at night and be free in the morning. My DD woke up real late in the morning, no time for homework. If I can remember, her P1 is quite relaxing. P2 has more homework but still manageable.
Hi comfy, thanks for sharing. I will like to do the same for ds. Perhaps 2 enrichment programs on 2 weekdays morning and another 2 on Sat. That will still keep our Sunday free for leisure.

May I know what is electone?
Thank you all for sharing your ideas with me! :grphug:

            Hi Tweet,

My son is one person who cannot sit still at all...his backside seems to have pins.
My ds too! He plays the piano standing up.
            janet_lee88:
David,Where piano/ballet or any other interests are concerned, it's the kids who must show interest...we cannot force them to like drawing or playing the piano. If your son doesn't like the piano, then let him drop it if he's really not keen. You get to save $$$ too...hehehe.
Yap, wanted ds to do violin instead (because piano is so ex!) but he insist on Piano just so he can be taught by this particular teacher again (was his speech & drama teacher but I pulled him out when he starts Zoophonics) :stupid:

              hi notabox,
My ds's piano teacher is also his speech & drama teacher. So maybe I know you. Would you by any chance be shifting house in sept and be my good neighbour?

                David,
                Take it easy.
I just asked Tweet & Jennifer about P5/6. Checked with hubby if he teach son Maths next year and he said ok. He has been teaching son Math since P1…he taught son the wrong method earlier and after the Parent-Teacher meeting, realized the mistake and so changed tactic.

Since he's your first born and going to P1, I'm sure you will invest precious time and effort on him.
My son used to watch a lot of cartoons like Pikachu and Ben 10 on Okto but has cut down...probably outgrown them. Now he's crazy over Youtube...have to limit his time spent on computer to just 1/2 hr. He's not allowed to touch the PC at home without permission.

                      Yes! 😉
Are you planning to send/fetch your ds to school or engage school bus service?

😉 Which grade he is in now? Once he needs to use the paddles, he will have to sit down.

I only allow my preschooler to use computer once a week and limited to an hr. My P3 uses every now and then with my supervision, the most an hr each time to check her mails/class blog/favourite websites. At some days, she does not touch at all. I occupy her free time with magazines/books she has interest in. I think she rather read hardcopies than on screen. 😉

As for TV, my preschooler watches her programmes about 30 mins to 1 hr in the morning and another 30 mins to 1 hr in the evening. Then the rest is news times, which we usually watch as family. My P3 seldom watch TV on weekdays. Maybe 1 or 2 movies (Ch5/Disney Channel) per week for her. Weekends, she will watch her favourite Ben 10 and Animal Planet/Nat Geo/Nat Geo Wild.

Someone asked, does PH has shorter weekday, answer is \"No\". School hours are the same. I know some schools dismiss students earlier on some days (for AM session), but not the case for PH.

Janet, Jennier's elder son is already in Sec1. CH6 last year.
