Does anyone of you know what is the market rate (hourly) for private home tution on Chinese for P1 / P2 kids? One to one is preferred. I am looking for one around my area in Seng Kang.

Hi Charlene,

I just engaged a private tutor for chinese. The going rate is about $40-$50 an Hour. This rates are for MOE trained teachers. Ours is $50 per hr as she is a school teacher

It ranges. From $25/hr to $55/hr. I know of a very popular enrichment teacher who specialised in helping weak/very weak children (one to one)and her charges is $45/hr for lower primary. Some parents say she is really effective to motivate kids and know the syllabus well.
