Hi i3mum,
Maybe she can offer her acting experience to those aspiring to be Mediacorp artistes, since Jim Rogers can offer talks.
If balloting is needed, it is done in front of everyone, no back door. -
I just saw NYPS’s alumni membership fee. Got a SHOCK. It is…
$1000
(ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS)
My alma mater’s fees is only $100. Compared to $1000! -
I tot Zoe Tay is staying >2km away from NYPS? She is staying <1km from HPPS. Correct me if im wrong.
Confused :? -
why is there such an interest on ZT and her son? do we really care?

I was told CHIJ alumni fees is just $80.

$1000 is no big deal for someone staying near Nanyang, right ? Esp if it can guarantee a place in the school.

That's true. But I think mrswongtuition is only comparing the difference in the joining fees of the different alumni.

I think they are only interviewing parents of 2006 end of this year...so you can send in your application by mid next year. I understand that they interviewed 200+ parents, selected less than 40...this number might drop further going by the balloting situation at NYPS. Honestly, traffic warden, sick bay duties (doctors/nurses) are the most essential help they need.So VooVoo, how is your PV at NYPS now? Ya, Z** T** son was born in 2005. Same with you and me. I am late to send the PV form last year July.
But going to send PV form for my 2007 DD2. Hope can be interview by them. Can you tell me more about the PV system? Btw how you write when there is a question of : Reason for chosing the school
Please help.. Thanks a million.
I don't think I dwelled into the reasons for choosing NYPS (common, obvious reasons anyway). It's more impt to elaborate on what you can help, preferably some skills you have which you can differentiate yourself...else, you might not get a chance to be interviewed...
Honestly, parents who are staying very near the school have a much higher chance of being selected to be traffic warden, also SAHMum/ Dad who can help out during school hours.
My five cents worth...
