I have been to the following CC:

ADELFIBEL
No aircon, airy, study programmes and food menu displayed on the wall, utilise public playground, has dining area, teachers are expressive when conducting chinese lesson, teachers students ratio good, free from HFMD for past 12yrs... touch wood ~$290

NEW LIFE
No aircon, nice environment with own sheltered playground, has own dining area, caring teachers, teachers students ratio good ~$435

MY FIRST SKOOL
With aircon, new (just renovated), study programmes displayed on the wall, gym corner, utilise public playround, dining area inside classroom, teachers students ratio good ~$315

AGAPE UNI @CASHEW
With aircon, study programmes displayed on wall, nice toilets, dining area inside classroom, mostly Malay teachers, students look happy, school fees is inclusive of enrichment programs (kids gym & multi media learning) ~$600

MERILYN CHILD CARE
No aircon, airy, place looks old, utilise public playground, dining area inside classroom ~$270

PCF SPARKLETOTS
Aircon, no. of children is low, clean (just opened last year), don't like the toilets inside classroom as it has a smell, utilise public playground ~$270

ORANGE TREE
Fully aircon, spacious, clean (just opened in June), intake small at the moment (can only see one class in operation), own playground, nice place ~$590

CHERIE HEARTS EDUCARE @CASHEW
No aircon, marble flooring (not suitable for young children unless put on socks/shoes), has to walk up & down stairs for lunch or to classroom, dining area looks cramp, caring teachers, free from HFMD for past few years... touch wood ~$620

Try Gracefields Kindergarten near the Bukit Panjang Post Office(Phoenix LRT).It has got a nice green patch of land and is not conducted in a mall environment.It has got 3 hr sessions one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.Teachers are also quite good and dedicated.

I registered my gal at Gracefields Teck Whye and just received a letter that the school will no longer be there as their lease cannot be renewed.

Now I am trying to find a school for my gal. I was looking forward to my gal studying that cos my nephew attends the one at Gilstead and my sister is very impressed with the school.

And after some research, no preschool in the area fits what I want. The last thing I want my gal to remember of her preschool is worksheets, spellings, tests which she will be getting tons in primary school.

I have been to Gracefields, its’ environment is like kampong style. All greenery and can even see squirrel. I love it!


It’s indeed a nice school with good programs + all the children need to put on shoes which is good coz it’s air-conditioned.

If it’s a childcare, I would definitely put my child there.

Sad to hear that they didn’t manage to get their lease renewed.

chatelaine, tks for yoyr feedbacks, i am still looking ard for preschool for DS. the price of cherrie hearts for gombak and cashew is such huge diff! i have been to gombak branch and its quite clean.

FYI, i have been to ichiban montessori @ hong san but don't find it fantastic like other feedback. As for greenfielf montessori, i think the treachers and prinicpal not friendly. Cambridge CDC is not bad, area is v spacious and clean with own playground and teaches phonics. I should be gg to carpe diem at jurong kechill and petir to check out the environment soon.

Agape Uni @Cashew environment and programs are good, Oct should have vacancy.


Orange Tree environment and play corner very attractive… No vacancy now.

I'm sharing the same dilemma as you...

i just registered my boy in N2 in term 4 after pulling him out from PCF due to some traumatic experience which i shall not mention here & am very upset to receive news that their lease is not renewed.Now i have headache deciding which school to send him to.

They suggested sending him to either their other branches which i find too far or Methodist Church of the Incarnation. Anyone knows any reviews about this school or know of any Catholic preschool in this area?

Pls do share if you know of any other good preschool to go to.
