      titank:
How do you find the NAFA Arts program so far?

I like the exposure to a good variety of medium eg. batik, craft work
But I find Nafa lacking in terms of drawing technique so my kids attend drawing classes with another teacher during school holiday

Anyway, Nafa fees are reasonable so okay for me

      titank:
Planning to put both my kids with NAFA next year where Kinder Art & Junior Art. Hopefully can get the timeslot for both of them at the same time.
That's why some parents need to queue at 6am 😉

You mean NAFA the drawing skills is extremely lousy? Like that you have to beef up extend extra drawing lessons in the school holidays? Would it be better to put them with Kidszone or Kids Art where heard quite well recommended in this forum.

Alamak don't put words in my mouth. I never say lousy hor. Lesson once a week, must cover so much things each semester (structured syllabus), I understand cannot expect Nafa to focus too much on drawing technique. I'm just stating my observation since you ask

Not beef up. Drawing is non academic, no need to beef up. My kids love drawing anyway. They learnt from that teacher before joining Nafa. Entirely drawing, no poster colour, no oil pastel, only use pencils. Continue with that teacher as holiday programme

You can sign up for Nafa holiday programme to try out if unsure whether to enrol

I heard that parents on queue list before 30 June 2010 will get the letter soon. Once you are in the program there is no longer a need to queue.

Has anyone sent their kids for the Nafa holiday programs? Any feedback? My boy enjoys drawing and finger painting, and I actually think he’s quite good! We framed up 1 of his art works and displayed it at home. so I’m thinking of sending him for art lessons this hols.

I didn’t know their kindy was so popular! You mean there’s such a long queue?? Wow.

                        Hi Sleepy,

The NAFA Kindy Art issued certificate if complete the entire program?
With this certificate would it help in anyway when they are in Primary or Secondary school?
