For Philip Island, you need to bring some warm clothing. When I was there, it was in the hurry, forgotten to bring. On the way to Philip Island, was ok, drank more hot drinks. But around 6pm, when we were at the gate, it was unbearable. My friends & I decided to drive back.

      😢

        hi yqyq

if you have young children, you might want to opt for other day trip packages as the drive may not be very exicting for the kids.

Any recommendation other trips that might please both kids and adults? Thank you šŸ˜„

I think Ballarat, Sovereign Hill is fun for adults and children.

          Hi all,

I’m planning a holiday to Melbourne with my family (with 2 kids of 3 to 5 years old and an infant) for the period from 22 August to 27 August. Anyone has any experience or suggestions or lobangs to share? Would it be good to join the day tours in Melbourne or DIY as in drive all the way on our own?

IMO, with 2 pre-schoolers and an infant, it might be better to DIY and self drive. You would then have more flexibility in timing and control over when to do unplanned stops.

What is the weather in Melbourn in Mid September? And is the Puffing billy ride scarry or dangerous?
