      livewith_vanilla,

      Not yet bed time ??

      Tell u a tip

People boast bcos they are insecure- they feel threatened by you/environment/ by others so they have to boast constantly to assure themselves that they are good, not just lucky.

Like lets say you play a game with a toddler , you will let the toddler win - see u dont have to prove urself, you know that you are way better, but when you play with ur equals it kinda hurts to lose , sometimes can even give excuses for losing...

Remember this and you can peacefuly ignore boasters...
In fact if your r in a wicked mood you can revel that \"hey she is actually threatened by my abilities...\"

Yes all the best to you and all P6ers!
Works your butts off kids 😉

( errr.. parents excuse the language)

      Thank you parents!

Just got back from hospital (read Alternative Views if you want to know).

      Am resting now!

      Thanks for the advice!

But I can safely say that my English and Science has improved.

Great and wish you all the best for your PSLE 2010 exams! Care to share your tips on how to improve http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13482?

Hmm.. I just read Science guide books, made mind maps. Generally i think understanding is the key to improving. Once you understand the concept, Science doesn't really seem hard. I go for extra remedial class with my Science teacher and he give extra notes and worksheets and goes through everything in detail.

going by top 10% of cohort computation, will the COP for PSLE 2010 rise to at least 250 for the IP schools including those newly minted ones?

i doubt COP will rise much at these new IP schs because the 'O' level track is still offered at these schs to cater to those who enter by affiliation from pri to sec. I think the no. of pupils taking the IP track at these schs will not form the majority in these schs' cohort. IP track is to stem the outflow of these schs' academically strong students after PSLE to schs like HCI n RI.

It is a prestige to get into an IP school whether the student is on IP or O levels track. The chance is seemed to be higher to get into the top 5 JC for the IP school student. Being kiasuparents, dual track may even better than single track, to be on the safe side.

PSLE is the 'new O levels' to get a good JC enroute to University path.

Does anyone know if we can get the 2010 Top schools' prelims papers now? Please share if you know where to get them. Thought it's good for DD to do some practice before the PSLE.

                Thanks.
                Hi Lizawa,

You may contact Jeremy 90216478, he mentioned the papers should be ready by today or tomorrow.
