Your son's hearing must be very good!
..Caught DS playing her song before his class starts ... After watching the performance, DS exclaimed, \"I'll be there (on stage) next year\" !! That's inspirational enough for me as a parent
He will do well in his exams...enthusiasm is the key!

Thanks for sharing - missed that 'cos DS down with fever then ;-< Do post if there's another one coming.
We're going however for the Yuki Wada performance tmr - free ! though you need to get the tickets from Yamaha.
& thanks for the well wishes ! All JSAC kids have good hearing to start with anyway
likewise for yours I believe. I find it important to develop their hearing when young - - playing/techniques can be picked up subsequently but apparently for hearing, I was told that once you miss the 'golden age' it's hard to train. So I particularly like the group class when they are being exposed to new song each week - - totally amazed at their ability to identify the motifs, instruments types, major/minors etc. Soon they will be so \"well tuned\" that it's like second nature to them whenever they hear any piece of music ! That's my idea of music appreciation alright ! -
Hi Einstein, just replied your PM - - sorry missed your msg as havenโt logged in to my mailbox for quite a while.

Thanks! Yes, you are right about the timing though entire concert ended by 8pm. Is this conducted yearly? Love the kids to be exposed to every performance opportunities.
By the way, posted in another thread, but do you know of any software that allow and facilitates music writing/composition directly into the computer? Currently my kid has to write it manually onto the manuscripts and as typically requires revision/changes, I find it tedious and not productive. -

I think there is but you probably have to purchase it. I doubt the teacher will allow them to use it anyway, so check first. Thanks! Yes, you are right about the timing though entire concert ended by 8pm. Is this conducted yearly? Love the kids to be exposed to every performance opportunities.

Re the ensemble, it is once a year, but there are will be another where each kid has to do individual performance, usually in the yamaha showroom.
We were all quite surprised this year's concert is so short, maybe because they chose shorter songs? Usually it is quite long and there is even an interval break. -
1 piece of own composition due by end October for next year Janโs studio recording. Own album? So exicting!

Thanks! Got a free software link but found that it's not that easy to use after allI think there is but you probably have to purchase it. I doubt the teacher will allow them to use it anyway, so check first.
But good suggestion to check in with teacher about use first. Must appeal to them \"Make technology your friend\"
