May I know where is the safe place to park when in Genting? Does the restaurants all accepting purchases with credit card?

We used to park at the open space carpark in front of Genting Hotel coz we thought it was safer since there are valet staff around. However, we changed to the basement carpark at First World Hotel for the recent visits coz we stayed in First World Hotel. They are basically all safe~ no worries.. 😄 Most restaurants accept credit cards too.

When we drove up to Genting recently, we parked at First World multi-storey carpark, since we stayed at First World.

I think it is safe. There is a lot of security at Genting.

If your car isn’t too flashy, shouldn’t be a problem.

          Hi,

We are thinking of bringing our kids (3 yrs old) to Genting. We don’t drive, so will taking a coach or taking a flight to KL then transfer to land transport be better? What would be the options of land transport from KL to Genting?

          Thanks.

the cost of taking a plane then changing to coach may be quite high, and I find that there's alot of time spent on transit waiting. U may wanna check out the well established coaches instead. at least u don have to lug your suitcases on n off several times. u may wanna bring stuff to entertain the kids if they can't sleep through the ride. 🙂

There is a mushroom farm which is abt 15mins walk fm the hotels in Genting. They provide free mini-van service to pick up the customer fm hotel. But I do not know what is their contact number 'cos it was arranged by my friend. The dinner serve at the mushroom farm is also very economical. I had al-carte dinner which cost abt RM200 for 8 dishes (including 1 steam fish) for 6adults & 3children.

The strawberry farm is located somewhere at the bottom or mid of Genting. It cost RM80 for a taxi (to and fm, including 1 hr waiting time by the driver).

                No advance booking is needed.

I am also going to Genting in Nov.

                  http://www.gentingstrawberry.com/gentingstrawberry/contact.php

I saw the map, it is at the bottom of genting.

But the website didn't mention how much is entrance fee. Is it free? Then for strawberry picking, there must be fee chargeable.

If take cable car, then no need to pay RM80, right? Since strawberry farm is next to cable car station.

WTS is giving me cable car ticket.
