      Don't take this the wrong way, but information is power, and I am merely the messenger;

Manuka honey is good for child. I feed my child 1/2 tsp whenever she has cough with phlegm. She gets better the next day.

btw, MGO100+ is equivalent to UMF 10+

              Hi Augmum,

can I check how you know MGO100+ is equal to UMF 10+ ? Did the pharmacist in Guardian tell you that? Last time I checked, the pharmacist just said for MGO, the highest is 700+ while 100+ is lowest.

All these gradings make me very confused leh... :?

              hi baong

Regarding about the MGO and UMF rating system equivalent, in short is as follows:

              Active 5+ = MGO™ 30
              UMF® 10 = MGO™ 100
              UMF® 16 = MGO™ 250
              UMF® 20 = MGO™ 400
              UMF® 25 = MGO™ 550

                Hi

I thought it's cheap liao and I bought 2 pack!

Currently, MGO 100+ do not have offer.

Even then for normal rates MGO100+ is think 29++ so will be still cheaper mah :?

that's right, the usual price for the Guardian Brand MGO 100+ (liscensed from DFI) is at S$29.95
(but i was told that not every Guardian branches have stocked them)

                      Hi Augmum,

Thanks for the links and explanation. So now 2 camps are fighting, hmm dunno when there will be a good grading system so that consumers like us will benefit.

Collected my honey from Nature's Farm few days back. Looking at the receipt, realised that the deal was really not bad. Discount was 44% off from usual price. DH had slight flu for past 2 weeks, after taking the honey, felt much better. Should there be another sales in NF, will update here.

                      Cheers
