      Jennifer:
Just came back from check-in my boy

We forgot to bring uniforms  Hubby had to drive back, then sent to sch šŸ˜‰

The bed mattress, mattress protector, pillowcase, mattress cover hv a funny smell. Anyone think so too? Found a few strands of hair on the mattress protector too  Wonder whether my boy can sleep tonight

Do your kid put the books on the hanging shelves above the study table? Or on the concrete ledge on the other end of the bed?

The floor is quite dirty. Our soles are darkened.

Hm, cant expect too much hor šŸ˜‰
You so funny ... can forget to bring uniforms. Don't know about the bedding. Boys did their beds, I didn't notice smell. Anyway, I put a jar of air freshener-cum-insect-repellent. Seems quite pleasant. haha! The fan doesn't seem to cool much even at highest setting. ;(

Books in the shelves on top of study table. They will study in the hall anyway, so not much studying done in room, right ?

We had to clean all the tabletops and shelves before unpacking the stuff on, bc all so dusty and had spiderwebs, etc. And we mopped the room floor too.

Me, and the other mom, and the 2 boys and the fathers - all worked v fast. šŸ˜‰ We checked-in 6.30pm, was out just after 7pm after watching the boys having their dinner and went for our own dinner. No time limit, I guess too, bc no rush at that time already. Oh, and we used those household wipes and floor wipes (magiclean?), so v fast job. Not exactly super-thorough cleaning, lah.

Anyway, just wanted to ask those who were given CO by NJC last year. Do you wait until the PSLE results are out and put NJC as first choice? Thanks.

            Cheers!

There's an Option Period end of October (after PSLE, but before results). You fill in that option form either online or on the physical form.

So the form will be given by the school?

            :thankyou:

Cheers![/quote]Yes, yes, MOE will send to your primary school, who will give you the forms.

Room is warm and girl is glad that i insisted on brining the small fan. But alas, also forgot a couple of essentials like her waterbottle and pail and so made a second trip there last nite just to deliver.

Just 5 minutes before midnight, she test me to say that she still could not sleep! Not that she misses home, more like they are still so excited ...

during yesterday afternoon checking-in, shared the same lift with a boy and his mum.

mum: so many useless things you bring, pencil box never bring. why? holiday, issit?
                boy: no
                mum: then?
                boy: camping
mum: (looks around the crowded lift, I think she nearly cried)

No funny smell in bed linen but my dd use own quilt. Room is bright with unblock view šŸ˜„

We arrived at 5pm, by then her room mate's parents had helped us clean up the place ( so nice of them šŸ˜„ ), we quickly unpack and left the place at 5.30pm. Books are placed in the hanging shelves.
