The free laundry svc works like this: submit dirty ones on Mon/Wed/Fri. Collection of cleaned ones on Wed/Fri. No wonder the boarding staff said hardly any student exceeds 17 pcs per week and told me can submit socks n underwear tge with the uniforms for free washing.

Girl having same problem too - insufficient uniforms and clothes. weather is so warm that she has to shower at least 3 times a day. She managed to send in undergarment to laundry. have not tried socks though ...

Why study in the dining hall? Is it that stuffy in the room? O.o :shock:

Think it depends on the facing of the rooms. My boy's study table in the room get the afternoon sun.

There is only 1 set of windows in the room. If the room door is closed, it can get quite stuffy.

Some students brou along standing fan during check-in on Sunday.

So I guess most of the doors left open? The rooms that the pupils were assigned depends on luck? Was there a ballot kind of thing for the rooms?

Sorry, if submit on Fri, shld get back on Mon. But dunno what time. Only know tmr (my boy sent in Mon uniform), let's see whether he gets them backl or not since member phankao's boy said some seniors said can get lost

Dunno got balloting or not. We only knew the room on the check-in day and were told to take the bed on the right side of the room. Luck liao.

The layout of the building is sort of circular, so bound to hv some rooms facing east (morning sun), some afternoon sun.

On the parents tour, I came across some rooms along the corridor facing a wall. The room was opened and there is a bad smell (boy's level).

Some of my boy's classmates do not change into pyjamas. They wear one set of clothing after sch, go for dinner and sleep. If weather is hot, I think very soon the room will smell bad too :lol:

I didn't get to check with my son about the laundry service and if enough clothes. I did see him today to bring him the fan, and I think he was going to do laundry himself. I didn't ask him more about it.

Really so warm in the room? Is yours a table fan or standing fan?

We did not bring the table fan on Sunday. My boy complained I prepared too many items :x

Will your boy be using the dryer?

My boy and his roommates washed some items ytd night after the self study session. Told me they are going to hang the wash inside the room. I cant think of where can hang laundry. Shld I bring a laundry line or rod to him? Hubby said I worry too much I just curious mah :lol:
