I usually ask the teacher progress after a few lessons. There was once I requested a mtg with the teacher via brh mgr to discuss my boy’s progress and a mtg was set up. I cldn’t attend the mtg due to work commitment and the teacher actually call me up to discuss. Ask ur brh mgr to set up a mtg, I’m sure can be arranged.

Afte each term, there will be a progress report. So far no formal parent-teacher mtg but according to my centre’s calendar…there shld be one coming up in November.

        Hi oneheart,

Thanks for your feedback. I did ask the teacher now and then, but the response is usually very diplomatic….typically like “Doing well, responding, enjoy themselves, smart girls, many things going on in their minds etc”. When asked on progression to next level, also very muddled and typical reply like “usually 3-4 terms, need to check with branch manager as she’s quite new to the centre…”

Ya, probably will bring up to the branch manager again when we are there this weekend….Thanks again.

Has anyone send their kids to Tiong Bahru’s branch? Any feedback? I would like to send my child there, but hope to hear more.

            Hi

My child is at tiong bahru lcentral foundation class. The teacher is new and young. He is friendly and knows how to warm up the children. Although he is new, he seems to have his way with children. My child likes him and enjoys his lesson. He has just assessed my child to be able to move up to launchpad. 🙂

The branch manager and his colleague are nice and approachable. Always very easy to talk to when you have any queries.

According to the branch manager, the other native teacher is an experienced teacher. He does looks like one to me. Not too sure about his style though.

Hi I have a P3 and a P1. Currently they are with BC and I thought of switching.

I read thru the whole thread and find little feedback on their levels...more on pre-school levels..

Can someone feed back if the programmes from LC benefits their children academically?

              Tks.

Anyone has feedback for primary levels?

                @i3mum:

My child attends Tiong Bahru branch as well.
                Fully agreed to XK’s comment.
My child attended lesson by both native teachers during the transition phase. I believed both can handle kids well, at least my kid is looking forward to attend the class every week.

Experience teacher from NZ, native accent is quite strong.
Younger teacher from CANADA, native accent is ok.
Young kid should have no issue, this is the right stage for them to learn english from native teacher.

If you decide to sign up with this branch, can suggest you something for further discount. PM me for detail.
