Isn't that where true value added is ? Afterall, popular schools do not lack in PVs from existing students so they are unlikely to be interested in common services.

Hmmm... thus the higher/demanding standards/targets for new PVs every year...
High Supply/Low Demand thingy... I think it's a fine line between value-added and exploitation.

Impossible that your friend's DD can get into NHPS as they stay > 2km. NHPS ballot within 1 km at P2C. Correct me if im wrong. :roll:

hi, sorry just checked with my friend he's within 1 click to nan hua. I thot it was 2 km. but still, he got really lucky and he told me all he do is to hope for the best as both him and his spouse travel alot in their jobs so impossible to do PV.

Went to see the PV form from SCG S. Its very difficult to write.

when i first saw RL's form, i nearly fainted.. trust me.. :roll:

Hi Parents,

I understand you would need to personally fill up a form at the school to apply for PV. Things have really changed.

I guess the part which is toughest to fill up is on what you can offer ?
If I can register my daughter in SCGS, that would be great bcos it’s much nearer home.

I've come across those 1-man consultancy firms... cheap to register biz anyway...
Then u can put down in the PV form as Director/MD of XX consultancy firm... the sch sure impressed one

Sad to say this does not work. My husband is indeed an MD of such firm but guess what, we go rejected. I used to work for pwd (not sure what it’s call now) where I’m placed to take care of 15 schools’ estate management matters. Given these in our application, we still got rejected…

So the question still is, what does the school really want? Each school is different. Unless they give a guideline on what they’re looking for, it’s all wild guesses when we send in the application in hope we’ll strike the 1st prize.

but if MD, should be very busy and therefore not able to commit the time right? No experience there but I think 'willing to work like cow/horse' would be a better sell? Dun take me seriously.

I would think impressing your commitment and your admiration of the school values/quality would work better?

Yah.. then employ FWs... Bangla/Prc/Phils... conduct foreign language courses for kids.... or train the kids to do housework/tie their own shoelaces/wash toilets/play with bricks/cement...
