4800 children registered to take part in a fitness test. 3/5 of the children were boxs. On the actual day of the fitness test, some boys did not turn up. Hence the % of the boys who actually took the test was 40% of the total no of children present tat day. At the end of the fitness test the no of girls who pasSed was 20% more than the no of boys who passed. 340 children the testHow many boys turned up for test

Girls registered = 2/5 x 4800 = 1920 (40%)

% girls took test => 60%
60% => 1920
100% => 3200

No. of boys took test = 3200 – 1920 = 1280
No. of children who passed:
Boys : 5u
Girls : 6u

11u => 3200 – 340 = 2860
1u = 260

No. of girls who passed the test = 6u = 6 x 260 = 1560

Mr Samad made some toys to sell. He sold 20% of the toys on Monday. He sold 27 toys on Tuesday. On Wednesday he sold 10% of the remaining toys. After that he found out that the toys he had left was 1 more than 1/2 the number of toys he had made. How many toys did he make.

The number of toys made by Mr Samad was 115. But on working backwards, the number of toys sold on Wednesday is in decimals! Will leave this question for others to solve.
