No wonder i did not see the extra room.
Yes, it could be their storeroom.
That y i never consider that as a classroom.
Feel so relieve now that they get to have a place of their own for the playgroup.

I just understand that there is a room for the playgroup after all.

So maybe for yr kid who is 4 year, the nursery class, they can convert somewhere into a room also.

an update... i have signed up for tanglin. it was a tough decision since mt emily is a more convenient location for us.

tanglin is a new branch… we were only informed of it recently
the tanglin compound is a bit more school-like… i.e. more classrooms… (i have the concern of my super active kid becoming distracted in a open-concept kind of environment)
but the key "attraction" for me is the principal… i have a very good impression of her…

yup the new classroom is just across the office. Currently, they have lots of things in the room, probably due to renovation. Was brief that it will be Playgroup’s room, so hope it really will be! The place is pretty small, so i guess even after renovation, the nursery or the older children will still be in the big classroom, separate by partition.

I have also heard of the Tanglin branch. In fact, wanted to sign up there but it is not on our way. Tanglin branch has a better space because the built up area is bigger. They are taking over The Odessey premises. Principal is Ada, from Halifax centre.

we did have a preference for emily because it is more convenient, but we felt so comfortable with Ada that in the end, we decided to try tanglin...

don't know if it will work out though cos although emily is far for us, tanglin is even worse...
that's why we probably will have to opt for full-day... anyway, Ada told us to think about it slowly & get back to her when school starts next year.

When is Tanglin's gg to start next year?
They getting new teachers or transferring from exisitng Pat's?
Guess U dont have to worry too much abt separation anxiety, most of the kids take ard 1 week. And when they realise that the rest of the kids are not crying at all, they will stop eventually.

Its common to take school bus at Mt Emily, since its on a \"mountain top\".
Not sure about tanglin.
No issue with school bus so far.

Why did u eventually choose Tanglin since its further for u?
