      Hihi duriz,

Oh no, you returned to work? Must be tough esp after seeing your baby
is so cute like what buds says.

Hopefully, you can go back to being a SAHM or perhaps you could do it
      part-time?
      Hi MLJ,

      some things are changing.
I may go back to being a SAHM sooner than I think.
      Will keep you posted.

Just returned to work in June.
        I miss my baby 😢
Anyways, I'm hoping to go back to being a SAHM next year 🙏
        Hi duriz,
You wanna be SAHM again? But you just went back to work leh... then why did you choose to go back to work in the first place? :?

          Yep cherrygal.
          I loved being a SAHM.
I came back to work as we got a PT maid to help with housework and MIL jaga DD.
But our PT maid will be helping someone with confinement come December, as she is also a confinement lady.
DH and I have debated about getting a FT maid or me go back to being a SAHM.
We've had ONE good FT maid and 6 horrendous FT maids.
So I may have to relegate myself to being the maid at home (again).
Although I do love spending what time I have with DD

              hi everyone!

Will be joining you guys officially in Nov! Just had a trial the last 2 days when my mom was down with the flu and I must say it was a real challenge taking care of a baby alone.
At least you had trial session.

Me? I just dived into it!
              cherrygal:
Does your life revolve around the kid totally?
As much as possible try not to lose yourself as a person and who you are.
As SAHM, you can be a great mom to the children... a good wife to your hubby...
but i highly encourage fellow SAHMs to find time for ourselves doing or catching
up on the stuff we like to do. Movies and hi-tea with the gal frenz...
Quiet time reading @ home... KSP-ing daily (of course) : to stay connected...
Indulge in some exercise ie. jog, gym, etc... and also the occasional pampering...
(for me) i enjoy body massages and spas... foot reflexology sessions... the
occasional short trips too... for other friends of mine, they like mani + pedi (etc). 😉

Another thing is also to try find couple time... just us & hubbies... to catch
up with the romance in the marriage... or if not the romantic kind ...
perhaps just time to rekindle couple-hood days (without kiddies and all the
running around errands, chores, school.. etc)
              cherrygal:
I was actually hoping for more personal taitai time when baby can go to playgroup and son in P1. Will it turn out this way? 🙏
Once you get your routine kicking into your daily life, i say YES! Logistics
and children's hours in school also plays a part on how MUCH time you will
have. You will have what you seek if you really want it to happen.

From my experience, it is a YES. :celebrate:

                Hi all,

I just told my mum today that i will be looking after DS from Nov onwards as i cant agree to the way my mum handle DS and she refuse to take my advise.

Im having mixed feelings… I feel happy because Im going to have time with DS and nurture him which i always wanted… I feel sad / worried because im going to lose my job… I have been working since the day i got my 1st job. I never resign a job without securing another … Im also worried what if I can meet the requirements to be a good SAHM.

Am i normal to feel this way? Haiz

                  Hi MyMooMoo,

It's good that you have decided to quit your job and take care of your child full time. I also gave up my career when my DD was born so I can give her my full attention and care. I have not looked back since and I have no regrets.

Of course, if you find out later that you are not the type to stay at home, you can always find a job later.
                  :celebrate:

                    Hi SAHMs,

I am going to quit my job by the end of the year and will be a true blue SAHM. Looking forward to it. My kids are still in primary school and I want to spend quality time with them before they get older. What are some of the struggles that you face as a SAHM? Do you get too bored? I have worked all my life and do not really know what to expect. :?

                      Hihi,

I am officially a SAHM this month. DD going primary 1 next year and I hope to spend more time with her rather than left her in maid’s care. To me, its about spending quantity time with my DD rather than quality time.

I will be breezing in to this topic more often now.
