I think AMEX is easier than citibank becos there's no need to enter that secure code. I never encountered any problems with AMEX.

OH NO! I was hoping it is citibank coz AMEX is American express and the charges can be ex ex leh 😢

Nowadays, credit cards are all free leh. When annual fee is due, you just call to cancel and they will most likely waive off. I had NEVER paid annual fees b4.

Thx dimsum for the information. I will apply for the DBS AMEX then. I will try to place orders in Nov bah. By then, my renovation has finished and that means more space for books! I think my hubby is going to :stupid:

If u are eager to get your books, you should place order end Sep/early Oct as the delivery time is quite long (7-8 weeks).

                Hi arielle08

From my past experience, if you are using citibank card and the transaction sated failed,it means your transaction did not go through. No $ will be deducted.

However if you are using Amex credit card please be careful. Like what hquek wrote it actually went through although the message wrote failed.

When i was using amex, i did not know and keep submmitting my orders end up have to cancel some of my orders.

Dangdang will refund me but it takes abt 1 month and i lose a few dollars on the exchange rate.
I just tried ordering using citibank card, but saw the same transaction failed message. Should I try again? or only AMEX card can work? Thanks.

I also prefer Amex card. Agree with dimsum that we should order our books early. Dec is gg to be winter time, worry that if heavy snow like last year i think our books will be gg to delay.

                    Wonderm,

Both cards can use. For citibank card, it is much more difficult to go through. Did you apply the secure code?

If you have amex card, it will be much easier.

hquek, you have all the 3 colors already? I ordered blue series as based on the description, I tot that's the 1st series. Still waiting for them to arrive. aiyah, i tot the font size is big.
I bought the blue one first, and decided that it's very good - so just went ahead to get yellow and red. Plus I like having things in sets...having the numbers jump is quite irritating.

I browsed by age - that's how I know different colours for different age groups. it's not very clear in the description.

lizuan76, what is the security code you are referring? I entered everything requested, including the 3 digits which is at the back of the card. Is that the security code?

I don't have AMEX card and don't think I will apply for one just for this purpose. Do you suggest that I should try with the same citibank card again? would I get the same failure message if I use the same card? or it is normal to require a few tries before it is successful?

Thank you very much for your advice!
