My daughter is in My Little Hands Learning Centre, the school has proven nurturing her well. My daughter is more attentive in small group teaching and has thus benefitted much.

Apart from academic teaching and learning, the caring and firm teachers consistently infused social and emotional learning into the curriculum. My daughter is becoming more empathetic and sensible.
Lastly, she is healthier as she falls ill less due to minimal use of air-conditioners in school.
I applaud and thank my junior’s caring teachers for playing a major role in nurturing my lovely child.
I’m sure she will not forget her teachers.

            Hi mummyJune

As My Little Hands Learning Centre has limited vacancies therefore they only accept children around 30 months old.

I visited almost all cc at sembawang/woodlands. Yesterday went to Spring Brainy kidz and ts morning Emmanuel Child educare. Short listed this 2 care and MYMCA@woodlands. I like Emmanuel Childcare premises and curriculum. Spring Brainy kidz also hv very good curriculum planning and dedicated teacher. May I know anyone have kids @ above cc? Any ideas how they’re? Any input will be very appreciated… Thanks in advice.

anyone have kids @ Star Learner in Sembawang Plc? Any ideas how they're? any input will be very appreciated...

My kid is in this childcare. The CC has been forced to close by MOH because of the high number of HFMD case these days.
The biggest problem of the CC is the kids number, which has increased sharply in last half year with properly around 200 at present. Before that it was good as a large area for kids to play indoor but now those \"vacancy\" areas were occupied by kids classes. Just too many kids, maybe that's why they get high number of HFMD.
The fee has been increased to 700 but still low compare to nearby CCs. I am thinking transfer my kid to a smaller CC I feel the service is not as good as before.

Hi, thanks for the reply, I've enrolled my son there. So far I noticed it is quite hard to talk to the teacher in charge since so many kids need to be attend to. I'm wondering whether my son is lost in the midst of all the kids there. Is there any more decent nursery in sembawang/w'lands? I live in woodlands.

SAFRA Yishun's Eager Beaver is moving out and Nurturestars is coming in! http://www.nurturestars.sg/news/09/2010/news-page.html#18

                        It's based on Kinderland syllabus....

From their 1st branch in SAFRA Mt Faber info, fullday CC is close to $500 for N2 (4-year old), after subsidies for FTWM and husband is SAFRA member.

Was very interested but Mt Faber side does not give 3-hour kindergarten.. so I'm thinking the Yishun one won't either...

But it's certainly a very good price for a CC and in a country club!!
