      there's a slight jam
but most parents will drop the students at that stretch of the road.. and every day, there will be 2 \"on-duty\" teachers to hold the hands of the students and help the students cross the road and into the school compounds right to the temperature checking area.

raining days even better. the teachers with their umbrellas will shelter the students across the road and into the temperature checking area.

to add onz.. though a bit out of point.. for my #1 first excursion, all parents went along.. the daddy told me it rained when they reached back school... the admin staff n principal all came out of the office and took umbrellas to shelter the kids frm the rain.

      good service hoR? 😛

wow... the thread is so active now...

since this is the first time that i am sending my kid to school... i have some qns to ask the more experienced parents.

What do we need to prepare for the kids to bring to school?
        - stationary?
        -books?
        -clothes?
        - milk?
        -milk-bottles?
        -beddings?

if they are supposed to take a bath, must we prepare our own soap, towels etc etc?

my kid is not toilet-trained... is that a problem? 😓

              Hi Smurfy,

              Impressed!! Excellent services!
So theres no worries even when it rains.
Basically its a drive and drop kind of thing?
Parents dont have to park our car somewhere to walk the kids to the school at all??

Btw, i notice that the big road almost next to the school, Upper Serangoon road, is very convenient as I dont have to go through the small lane to reach Serangoon Pat’s.
Are there any teacher station along that road to pick up the kids?

The other time when i was there, i have to go through this Simon road and midway, we have to stop several times to give way to oncoming vehicles. Somehow there a quite a few vehicles parked by the roadside that day. Is that common in the morning?

By the way, side track abit.
Does your side have alot of excusion that includes parents?
So far, my kid only has 2 excusion this year. Only 1 allow parent.

                Hi mtdt,

I am planning to transfer to full day prog.
Pillow and bolster we have to supply ourselves?
So every week bring back to wash??

                Toothbrush, toothpaste!
Good! Currently her group dont have the practice to brush the teeth.
I desperately need the school to start this routine as my DD simply hate to brush.
Will be great if the school can train her properly in terms of oral hygiene.

                Hi debpch,
I also left a bottle of mosqito repellent with the school.
As for diaper, you may leave half a pack with the school, they will inform u once they run out of diaper.

I am wondering… will the school help to toilet train the kids?

Don't worry, by the age of 2-3, yr kid will automatically do it due to peer pressure. Don't force them.

How abt bottle feeding? My gal has a habit to drink milk from the milk bottle before she naps. She also refuses to drink milk from a cup. Heard from Tanya from Mt Emily that they don encourage bottle feeding which i agree. But i am worried that my gal can’t get used to it when she naps in the sch. Dono wat to do…
