Hi Leanne,Leanne:
Hello all,
Glad to know that this thread has come alive and we can share more about the primary five workload and the coming sa2 exam.
Hey, when is your child last paper?Am really looking forward to the end of it, though we yet to start the race...hahaha
cheers
Leanna
My DD's last paper for SA2 is on 1 Nov (can't wait). Only 1 more month for revision.
Just completed her oral exams last week. Didn't quite know how to prepare her for oral. Just bought some oral materials and asked her to read up for ideas. We tried predicting which pictures will come out every year but have not succeded once. :scratchhead:
Good luck to everyone for their oral exams. :xedfingers: -

Weekend come and go, so fast.
How is your typical weekend like?Mine usually spent almost the whole day doing school work, there after rest and dinnner out with family members.
Weekend is also a day that my child catch up with sleep and rest. What about yours?

Ya, I also thought it was a bit early for oral exams. Your child has oral exam and paper 1 in 3 weeks time.... Not on the same day, I hope.
Totally agree with you about the holidays. We are also planning on going for one before we embark on that much dreaded journey to PSLE. Not looking forward to PSLE.

Saturdays are usually spent doing homework, followed by piano lessons. Evenings are spent with parents/in-laws.
Sunday mornings are spent for church activities, and the rest of the day will be for catching up on homework, followed by some outdoor activities late afternoon. Nowadays, the weekends seem too short. -
Hi Tinkerbelle,
You typed at wee hours?
Yes, I agreed with you weekends are way too short. My piano lesson will be today, which is always a long monday for my child, hope its not a blue monday though.
Is your dd taking any piano exam next year, do u intend to stop next year, since its psle, am still contemplating.
Regards

Hi Tinkerbelle,
Just saw this message of yours.
Our papers , oral and compo exams are pretty well spread for this term.Cannot wait to finish, hope everything falls in place.
I am also not looking forward to psle cos I can see many are understress now, as in the students who are taking the exam soon. The usual cheerful lots also become quieter.

Haha...not normally nocturnal. Usually weekends are quite busy so I can only check mail etc at wee hours.
We still haven't decided if DD should go for piano exam next year. :scratchhead:
Hectic schedule already so don't know if we should overload her. A few of my friends have decided to stop their DDs for a year to fully focus on PSLE. Guess deciding factor will be DD's SA2 results.
