The book costs around $12.50 for Vol. 1 and it was certainly not worth the price!!! They cd’ve easily added Vol 2 also into it…the pics are in B&W and very large. Only the Cover seems attractive!

Hmmm I also bought mine today..but I find it very good. I have also been with them for a while and like what I see. The whole thing is in black and white but the content is what I am more concerned about. And the mnemonics are very effective and the kids write so well. Maybe you were expecting something different...but anyway, to each his own:)

Content-wise it is good but our children still needs guidance…I had re-do the topics in a more child-friendly way.The compos by the students were really appreciated by our children. But I suggest that for Vol 2, they make it in a easier way, child-friendly way!

I like the book. It provides a lot of insight to helping my children with writing. I have a question. How fast does it normally take for a child to write like this from the time the child first joins the centre?

The book is very good, I like the drawings and cover also. It does not look like an assessment book! :love: The content is also fantastic, I love the diarrhoea example so funny! And the world war 2 story too. Your students did a great job!

Also wondering who is Jolie Koh? Is she a teacher at TAS or a student?

Jolie Koh is an assistant teacher at TAS and she is very artistic hence
she is the one who did the illustrations and cover design.
