the itouch 4G is 111 x 58.9 x 7.2 mm (4.4 x 2.3 x 0.28 inches), maybe you can check with your friends who have the 3G model. -

Go invest in a good PDF reader that supports much more formats: Goodreader. Best 0.99 I spent on an application.ChiefKiasu:

The 4G is blocky (yucks) compared to the sexy contours that defined the 3GS. So their clothes won't fit one another. Curse you Apple, for making us buy a whole new set of accessories

sand is asking for the difference between iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G, where 3G/4G = 3rd/4th generation iPod. There design is similar, curvy type like iphone 3GS, but not sure about the thickness.... chief a bit mix-up liao lah.. -
