      Hi joyfulmumof2

Heard that Just education is quite popular in their Mathematics. But you must check on the number of students per class. Heard from parents that the number can go up to about 18 per class. Maybe you will have to call and verify with the branch you are keen on.

As for me, I would prefer a smaller group. Thanks.

Agree with Hifive, smaller group offers better

teacher : student attention. Such a big group
is too classroom-y in my opinion as well. Unless
of course the teacher can still manage to zoom in
to tackle on each child’s weaknesses for improvement.

Not sure whether you have heard about SmartLab Tuition Centre in BLK 818. I have been sending my kids to SmartLab for 2 years plus already. Very impressed with the way they coach my children and the results they have gotten 🙂

I was introduced to them by one of my friend whose kids studied in their Bishan main branch, her children improved from C6 to A1 in the O levels which made me very tempted to put my children in. Lolz.. Highly Recommended to Daddies and Mummies here.. You can log on to http://www.smartlab.com.sg on the website to search for them. Hope this helps!

Buds : you are correct. A very small class size is important, I used to send my kids to centres with 20++ students. Even if the $$$ is cheap, they didn’t show improvements. Now, I am glad I found my children a good tuition centre.

            Hi jambunanny

I’ve read from the website of smartlab and they indicated max. group size is 18 for primary and secondary level. Is this their normal group size?

Can I just ask if your kids are primary or secondary level?

            Thanks in advance.

Hifive, when I registered that time, the customer service told me that the max class size is about 8-10. Maybe there is a typo?? Lolz.

All these while, my children classes did not exceed 8… Except when they are conducting hands-on lab lesson for the students, there will be a few more students but normally not a lot. My children are in Sec 1 and Sec 3 this year. How about yours?

I still think small group tuition is still the best… the teachers are able to concentrate and marginalised the student weakness and reach out to help them. but of course… got to pay more la…

for those parents who have tried smartlab, do they have free trial lesson?
