That's quite sad really. Thanks for highlighting - I'm guessing you're not a teacher in TAS. I thought in education circles such action = plagiarism if proper credit wasn't given.

Gosh, it must be embarrassing for the hod and teachers to be found out like that. And to think they even have the guts to try. Shake head.

It is indeed sad and no I am not a teacher at TAS, just a parent with children at TAS. I cannot tahan cos I never knew teachers could be so blatant about disregarding certain laws. Anyway, plagiarism is taken very seriously. From what I know, especially in the higher levels of learning, university and so on, I am not sure if it is taken as seriously at the lower levels.

Actually, come to think of it, quite silly of them to try when they can read that the extracts are from their school, wouldn't the students come to know about it? It is not as if this come is from some school abroad where it is harder to find out if people plagiarize their work.

Hi parents,


I just got the creative writing book and so did the rest of my friends, we all agree that this book is a ‘must have’ to help your child write well. Especially now with the SA2 compo test coming up. But your child should be P3 and above. Some of my friends say P2 also can help as their school P2s write about topics like ‘fire’ and all that. Anyway best of luck to all of you who have children sitting for exams in the next few weeks.
