HI, for the recent show and tell for p2 oral exam, I understand that some teacher in other classes let the kid practise before the exact session, But, kids at faith 2 was not given a chance to practice before the actual session. Any parent from Faith 2 have feedback on this ???

My dd's class (CH) did not have that too. However, they will have the EL and CL orals on alternate days. My feel is the school is pretty relaxed with oral and hope that the kids could score if possible. I am curious, which are the classes doing that? You can pm me. -

Who is this teacher?I met a neighour whose two daughters are in PH, one P3 and one P5. Confirmed with her my P3 boy's CL teacher is really not interested in teaching the pupils as this same teacher is her P3 girl's FT cum CL teacher.
If anyone's child kena her as a CL teacher next year, do send your child for tuition or you teach at home.
I have a yaya neighbour, who is also a CL teacher in another school. She has a son in PH. She told me her son's P1 CL teacher, who was also her NIE's classmate has great credential but has no interest in teaching, and since she knew tr very well (her friend), she did not sound like she really mind. Well, she is a CL tr herself, so I guess, her son's std should be good. This type of teaching attitude annoys me. -

Ok, mine may not be exactly relevant. Last year, my child's P2 EL teacher made them practised for oral. She made them wrote down what they have to say and made them memorised. She asked the children out one by one before actual oral to recite to her and commented.wah:

The writing down and memorising are the standard for every class, I presume? In the first place, when the kids are allowed to bring home the templates for writing down and preparing their show-n-tell is already a way of making it easier for most. However, some kids might not have the resources/people at home to help so the teachers will have to do more to guide them. In this case, they could not be very strict in grading, unless the child deliberately did not remember his/her script or prepare at all.E3:

Son hardly wore uniform in P1/2...other than photo-taking. It was only in P3 that PE lessons were cut down. Kids shoot up pretty fast in school bcos of the PE lessons. There was a year when the uniform quality was very poor...threads hanging loose and shirt quality very thin. :x Even the school badge was faded in colour although it was brand new.The material of the school uniform for boys by the new supplier is much thicker than the previous supplier's.
My P3 boy seldom wears sch uniform during P1, mostly in PE attire. Then in P2 , 2 days of sch uniform and 3 days PE.
P3 - 3 days sch uniform n 2 days PE. Think the ones I bou this year material is not so good, quite thin now. Next year wld hv to buy new sets. -

There will always be black sheep in every place. It's sad that the teacher doesn't do her part and that is to TEACH. Hope her behaviour/attitude will be discovered.
