for paper 2 q7, my dd says she only answer 12 because the question ask is what is the number… dont know will lost point or not? the rest she only got 2point lost.

Me too.
My method was something like that:
119-6=113
113x8=904
904+49=953
I tried and tested this method with the given patterns before using it as my final answer -

I am not sure if this can be understood without the pattern, but this is how I worked it out:
I found Pattern 120 like this:
(120-2)/2x13+20= 787
Then,
to find Pattern 119, just minus 5, which gives 782 -
