Got it down on my bb, am going to see if Bras Basah has. Thanks for your help! Literature is an area I can foresee I would need a lot of help to help my kids..Chengg:
That was indeed really helpful, thanks Autumnbronze. I noticed you mentioning about sample Literature answers, do you have them? Could you pm me too?

Hi chengg,
You are welcome
I can recommend books with sample literature essays.
That was my advise to the other forummer via PM.
One of them is \"Sharpening the Senses\", the other is Model Essays (Animal Farm) by Freda Stock. Publisher is Graham Brash. Its a very old edition, in the 1990s. Not sure if bookstores have stock. May have to try 2nd hand book stores at Bras Basah.
Alternatively, you may want to check with Popular. They may have come up with some new editions or publications.

You may need to set aside some time at the 2nd hand bookstores cuz sometimes the books may be all over the place. I remember 2 stores - BookPoint and Knowledge.
There may be others now .... -

I see, I did not have time to go down today. Might go during the weekend.

But will look out for these 2 bkstores! Really appreciate your help.
In diff secondary schools, the children are given diff lit texts, are there guidebooks for these books? Sorry to ask so much but I very 'blur' when it comes to secondary school education. -

I managed to get quite alot of guide books and sample answers from this website: http://www.acmamall.com
Quite reasonable service and prices of books are reasonable *unless you are getting a limited edition or a very old copy that requires shipping in from US -

Thanks once again autumnbronze!

My son wants to opt for Literature as a subject in Yr 3 (IP). Can someone advise how is Lit in Yr 1 & 2 different from Yr 3 & 4. Iām very worried that he will regret his decision as he is more of the Maths/Science than the humanities type. What attributes must one have to do well in Lit? He is not the emotional type and also does not express his feelings/emotions. Will this be a hindrance to doing well in Lit?
