How was the PSLE Science? Please vote after monday's paper.
Grammar mistake.
Should write, \"What do you think of Monday's Science?\" -
:? Any tips to score well in 2010 Science?
Lets all pray that they make the Science Paper not so tough....Good luck to all the students to do their best!

Hi guys,
Iβm taking psle science tomorrow, and I really need help on electrical/heat conductors and magnetic objects. could someone here please type up a list of the common electrical conductors/insulators, heat conductors and magnetic objects? Cause I get mixed up on that a lot.
and does anyone know an easy way to remember them?
thanks guys -

Hello! I'm taking PSLE Science tomorrow too!Hi guys,

Well, here's a list that I can think of right now.
Magnetic Materials:
Iron
Steel
Cobalt
Nickel
My science teacher says we only need to know iron and steel.
Electrical Conductors:
Water
Metals
Heat Conductors:
Metal
Common Electrical Insulators would be plastic and rubber.
Common Electrical Conductors would be iron, steel etc. Water and carbon are also electrical conductors. -

Wow, thanks.

And while you're here, i just wanna clear some doubts. Is copper an electrical/heat conductor and/or a magnet? O.O
Oh and, I don't remember where, but i read somewhere that steel isn't a natural magnet, and that it needs to be magnetised.. is that true?
and so for heat conductors and electircal conductors, I just remember that all metals are? -

Wow, thanks.

I'm no science expert but as far as I know from my notes, steel is an alloy.
And copper is non magnetic but is an electrical conductor.
It is also a heat conductor.
I got my answers from powerpoint slides done by my class and from the web. -

Good luck for tomorrow..
do you mind me asking what school you're from? -

I'm from compassvale primary. How about you? :celebrate: -
Hi,
my son's science tutor ask him to remember:
Singapore Is Not Clean
Good luck! :celebrate:
