      Hi TUANG,

My daughter's teacher is Teacher Wei..

the admin staff there are also very friendly & approachable..
To save u the trouble, u can call them at 62670028, to ask for the class timings which Teacher Wei teaches.
When u can decide on the timing, can call them to reserve, then go on actual day to register πŸ™‚

Any questions can PM me or post here πŸ™‚
After u enrol, hope u can PM me your child's details, K?
      Thanks in advance πŸ™‚

i3mum, my daughter’s doing 2 digit x 2 digit and just started 2 digit x 3 digit (towards the end of the book). Division I think starts when the child embarks on 2 digit x 2digit. And yes, she’s also in CMA (Toa Payoh)

          Yan,

I've replied your PM but have not heard from you since. Not sure if you have received my gal's details for registration. Please PM me again if you have not (Sorry, I do not like to post personal details openly on public forum for security). 😐

Novena and Bishan branch is under the same owner Eleanor. I heard she is the only one in CMA who operates 2 branches. Her own son went through the programme (when he was younger) and was featured in TV before. You can arrange for an assessment with her on weekends as she's normally at Novena branch then.

For other parents interested in registering your kid for CMA and need a referer or find out more, please PM me. I will try my best to help and share. That's what this forum is about. I've benefitted from experiences and sharing from parents here, and will do my part in sharing too πŸ˜‰

My son is 8 years old and he started CMA 2.5 years ago. Currently he is learning multiplication. Since the day he joined CMA, I am amazed by the speed and ease of calculation without using calculator. Some of my friends commented that there is no direct academic advantage by learning CMA, I think it does train their brain power.

                        Wildboys,

I’ve replied your PM. My gal is in K2 now and has been with CMA for >1.5 years and I feel she has progressed well. She is doing 3 digit by 1 digit multiplication and division and additional and subtraction of decimals. I think that should be more than sufficient to cover her basic Maths foundation for P1. Please PM me if you have further queries.

For parents who are interested in the program, please PM me and I will share with you what I know based on my experience with my gal. For info, my son has attended a different abacus program previously and comparing the 2, CMA is much more "kid-friendly".

                        Hope this helps.
