There were better officers around. Once we were caught making an illegal u-turn outside Carrefour JB after a JB plate car. Not surprisingly we were told to stop while the JB car zoom off. When my hubby open his wallet to show him we only had 50RM left after all the shopping the officer was nice enough to ask if we have $$ to go home if we gave him all that. After taking that RM50, he actually directed the traffic behind to stop so that we could drive off from the road shoulder to the first lane. Service charge I assume.
BTW, super dad, we are planning a kuantan trip in June. Any must see must do thingy there?krazy:
goodness!
so dishonest! yeah, we also had our fair share of dishonesty. once, my passport had less than 6 months left of validity, and i dint realise until i was at the msian customs.
the officer said, i had to give him $50. I gave him RM$50, he said no. he wanted SGD$50. terrible. -
Beaches at Kuantan are nice…and there is a club med further up. There is the blue lagoon and the cape ricardo which is nice. And a famous Chempedak Beach…with a 24 hr Macdonalds. I was told recently that there is series of old tin mine caves at Sg lembing. I haven’t done this before. Places on the east coast are more beach resorts and kampung villages.

Hi. Being a KS parents, even with GPS, we still feel insecure in our maiden drive out beyond JB.
Can anyone please advise me where I can buy a good map? -
:celebrate: A GPS is what you need, cos a map doesn't \"re-route\".
I hate Malasyia's signboards...have anyone realised that their traffic signboards for directions seemed to be located either AFTER the turn or at the turn? Sometimes there is simply no time for reaction.
Then again, my hb says the best part of driving is getting lost....

We are going to Kuantan this June
This is our third trip there. Love the beaches and food there.
We went with our GPS during our last trip, it was a breeze compared to using the map previously. -
