markfch, mostly i bought from overseas...maybe about 50 books per shipment....for eg Rainbow Magic, 1 book costs about $10 in Singapore, if i purchase from overseas, it costs me about $3 to $4 including shipping.

the 'Horrible\" series can be introduced to kids even before Pri 3 to build up interest in science...it is fun to acquire knowledge via the'Horrible' way, it is horribly interesting !! -

We have the entire series (22 titles). The older version ones, all bou locally. Now pages are stained with yellow spots. Really not worthwhile to buy in S'pore.

Recently, my dd borrowed some \"Horrible Science\" books from the library.
They are pretty fun to read and teach principles well. they can act as good reference material in teaching Science.
I just bought the whole series from UK .. so much cheaper than getting them from Popular.
I saw some new covers at Borders. If I recall correctly, the paper is white, not yellowish type. Maybe can keep better?
if u are buying online, might as well get the Geography series. Very interesting too.
