Robin readers vs Ladybirds

I am thinking whether I should get the robin readers with iPen or Ladybirds (a, b, c) series for my kids. I understand that Ladybirds has been in the market for quite a while and I saw quite a number of kids benefited from reading through the series.

Anyone bought Robin readers with iPen? Some friends told me that robin is good as after the kids learn how to use iPen, the parents do not need to accompany them all the time. In terms of the key words in this reader, is it comparable to Ladybirds?

hi sunny, from my exprience whereby i tested out the iPen at the popular it dun really give a good phonic start up. my son is K2 and the school recommended the key words with peter & jane serires.

for a start my son and i dun really like to read them as the picture are not as colourful as the robin reader series. however, as he process to higher level in peter & jane series he started to enjoy.

i also discover his reading skill had improved. just spend half to 45min with your kid to finish a book, for sure you will see the result.
