Many years back, my MIL come to my 1300 sf HDB flat and pretend not knowing where the toilet is, made me bring her to the toilet. Must I put signages in the house :? They just know how to act pitiful.

Talking about acting. I think most MILs watch too much drama on TV, be it Chinese drama, Taiwanese drama, Korean drama or Indian drama! After all the drama watching they act it out in real life! Sometimes it is funny to see. After I told my SIL that my MIL is quite dramatic, she went to feedback to MIL! My MIL was quite hurt but after that, the acting stopped.... -
Hi wormy,
Wah ! Your flat must have been so big that the old lady cannot find the toilet. :rotflmao: Either that, you must have done a great job hiding the toilets. If she isn't invited over often, no need to put up signages.
After that one time hubby told his parents to come over, I don't have to put up with it anymore. All those unnecessary & uncalled for comments about the powder coated sliding doors in my house...individual glass panels are difficult to clean blah blah blah, so many windows blah blah blah. -

Maybe I should be thankful that she only needs hand holding to walk to toilet and not cleaning her backside. Oh, she's never been invited. She invites herself. Once, my mum cooked yam cake for her, she said it gave her rashes. So, no more food from my mum to her. But she can eat yam ring, which cost $$$ more. My son wanted to order \"white\" chicken on her b-day, she says she's superstitutious. Anyone knows why cannot order bai zhan ji? She also complained why i don't BRING my parents to have meals with her. So duo pai.Hi wormy,

Hi wormy,
Your mum so nice to cook a dish for your unappreciative MIL.
No need to do such a thing…or else your MIL will think she is 上等人. Mine here also the same…sometimes hubby buys food for her to eat but instead of appreciating, gives all her crap. To me, I find that she should have just shut up and eat, bcos her other children don’t do that. -
Hey what about Father In Law? Mine is not too bad. Thou 100% hen peck by MIL :stupid:, I can tell fm his small little gestures that he has accepted me as part of the family. For that, I will \"openly\" shower him with words of concern (also purposely make my MIL jealous lah :cheeky: Mua ha ha ha ha ha  )

Ya lor, spoil market. But then, I don't think I told my mum about what MIL complained about. Don't want her to worry.Hi wormy,

On the other hand, my late FIL was very nice. Whenever my hb was overseas and there were faulty bulbs etc, these would be fixed. He had our house keys. Sometimes, he dropped by to fix things, leaving a note and called to check if we're alright. When my car kena knocked while driving, he was always the person I called first. Lousy woman driver me.
