      LLTan:
      Hi TAS,

I heard about you from my colleague. She bought your book and has joined your programmes. Needless to say she is very happy and impressed with you. My older boy is in P2 and he can do comprehension, grammar etc very well but he struggles with creative writing. He writes quite well in the sense that he is able to string complete coherent sentences together and his story makes sense. However, he is not so good in describing the scenes. I was thinking if it is possible for him to learn the techniques and maybe progress to a higher level after he has mastered it? I am asking this as he is a very fast learner and I think he can go to a higher level after he masters the basics. But if it is not possible, that is also fine. I do not want to put you in a spot. Thank you lastly for letting non TAS parents have your book, it is really helpful.
      Hi LLTan,

Thank you for your feedback šŸ˜‰ We can assess your child and
make some recommendation after that. Alternatively, if your
child catches up very fast and progresses beyond the peers
in his group, we will also make a recommendation to get him
to go to a more advanced class.

        TAS,

I was reading this thread - thanks so much for all the wonderful ideas!! I hope I haven't missed your sales, but do let me know when the next one is.

DS has been reading his Murderous Math (and his other non fiction books) over and over again until (sorry, I know this is a language thread), look like kiamchye, so I havent been actively looking for other books for him. He recently picked up the Artemis Fowl series though, so he might be ready to pursue this direction further. I'll be picking over this thread through the next several months :).

        Cheers!
        Hi Blobbi,

Sure, we will let you know about our sales. We would probably
have it in December. By the way, when you mention reading
the thread, are you talking about the 'Storybooks that help
your child write well' one? šŸ˜„

How old is your child? If your child likes Artemis Fowl, he should
like books by Chris Ryan, Anthony Horowitz and the Charlie
        Bone series.

Oops sorry. It's the other thread . I saw your name here, put one and one together, and got three.

He picked up Anthony Horowitz once at the airport and was laughing his head off, but I never followed up on that. Haven't heard of the other authors but will check them out tks. He's 7.

                  Hi TAS,

Hope you have another 10 copies of the creative writing book? Some of my friends want to order. I will arrange to go down to Yishun to collect if you do have 10 more copies.

                      Hi TAS,

I just got your creative writing book! It is really one of the best writing books for kids! Do you have other books, eg: grammar, synthesis, vocab, that you plan to have. I like the way you have the vocab mnemonics, and the way you teach grammar here on the forum. Perhaps you could do books solely on grammar, vocab etc. I am sure many of us will buy šŸ˜„

                        The Alternative Story:
                        Hi buds,

Oops, sorry I thought Green Ridge was at Admiralty. Seems like it
is very tough to find a place in school in Woodlands. How about trying
for schools at Sembawang or Yishun?
Heyya again, TAS. Can't lah.. Logistics will be a problem.
Transport costs will also be extra. šŸ˜“ I'd rather stick
to the current one in CCK that we are already extremely
happy with, rather than find another in Semb/Yishun.. šŸ˜‰
                        The Alternative Story:
Hopefully, you can find a spot for them soon. It must be very tiring to travel all the way to their present school and back.
Recently received a call from one of the schools we waitlisted at...
:xedfingers: now.. šŸ˜‰ Tiring? Naah.. i need the exercise to stay
in shape... whatever shape that it is now though..
                        The Alternative Story:
And congratulations on your pregnancy! :celebrate: You must be so happy šŸ˜‰
Thanks! šŸ˜„ Eh, i was already like 8weeks preggie when i attended
your Creative Writing techniques workshop in Paya Lebar lah.. šŸ˜‰
                        The Alternative Story:
What kind of work would you be looking
                        for?
I'd go back to preschool line (still considering full-time or part-time) which
i am very passionate in and also do further study.. šŸ˜‰ Have been
observing the industry and looking around for a good place to work.
Preferably near where i reside as well so it'll save travel time.
                        The Alternative Story:
Would you be running phonics programmes?
Yes, i am. This is a confirmed programme... together with Math as well..
amongst other programmes in the works. šŸ˜‰
                        The Alternative Story:
It would be a hit, I am sure.
Aaaawww.. thanks! That's very sweet!
                        The Alternative Story:
Hope we can have your daughters join us as well when you have everything settled.

                        TAS
Yes, they are ecstatic over the possibility of joining TAS for enrichment
lessons! They're keeping their fingers crossed. I'm considering your
Sunday slots as both can attend at the same time, which is the most
ideal scenario. šŸ˜„ But i also like weekdays cos it'll give them time off
for the weekends to chill out.. but weekdays are 2 separate days &
timings.. So will see how it goes. šŸ™ Will keep in touch with you
                        guys...

Oh btw, i'll see if i can personally pick up the book from you this Sunday.
Will call to confirm first. šŸ˜‰
