We stayed at Kerrily farm when we went in 2007. http://www.kerrileypark.com/index.html

That was the 2nd time we stayed at that farm. The first time, there was really a lot of stuff to do, animal feeding, etc. But the 2nd time round, it seems the original owners sold off the farm and were actually in the midst of handing over so things were a bit lacking. Now not sure. But the kids still had loads of fun, picking eggs, feeding all the animals and pygmy horse riding. Even in winter they managed to pick oranges and apples.

If you have time, spend a day or 2 at Mandurah. We rented a waterside villa and it was beautiful. We did some crabbing and caught at least 12 flower crabs right at the foot of the house. Took a cruise down the canal and saw all the houses and had dolphins chasing our boat.

My famliy of 3 spent 8 days in WA last week. When we were at the busselton jetty, it was still undergoing renovations. The jetty will re-open in november.

We did the whale watch charter and 2 cave visits in the margaret river area. In denmark, we stayed at a lovely place called sensational heights.

We enjoyed going round the busselton jetty, and when we went in March, there was the Mandurah crab fest… very interesting to see their festival… alot of activities and good food…

There’s also the drive-in cinema in Busselton, something we don have in singapore… They also had outdoor cinema screenings… very nice atmosphere and weather…

Would love to go back again soon!!

Sorry, cannot remember the cost. We went to the Busselton Jetty as well. We walked all the way across to the underwater world observatory (3km).

We spent 14 days going all the way to Albany then back down to Perth City. If you want to cover places like the caves and the Valley of Giants, Busselton, etc, think you will need more then 7 days.

erm, we left the kids behind on our trip.. and took a campervan... but I'll share wat we did, so you can have some reference 🙂 we went for 7 days.. super slow and relax pace ya.

We went in March. Note that there is a major holiday in March, ALL prices for accomodatation is super high that long weekend. I can't remember the date, but I think it's the first weekend. We went just after that. We stayed in campervan parks.. very good facilities for kids.. I hope my sequence below is correct, old liao.. abit forgetful..

Day 1, we arrived midnight, stayed@ criterion hotel in town. Spent the day picking up campervan, shopping and went Ciao Italia for dinner. Fantastic chilli mussels n tiramisu (eh, we r foodie types lah)

Day 2, Fremantle markets, Maritime museum, Prison tour etc.

Day 3 Mandurah for crab fest, lots of yummy 'street food', all sorts of crab dishes!! there's kids carnivals, music performances etc. then we headed to Bunbury

Day 4 Bunbury beach for Dolphin sighting, then head to Busselton Jetty.. recomend to dine @ the goose.. very good food, huge portions . Night we went for the drive in cinema.. very romantic..under the stars.. there are kids shows too!! cheap and nice.

Day 5 the Lighthouse and Cave Ngili (sorry can't remember spelling liao) and head on to Margaret river. We didn't make it to The shed (sheep shearing show).

Day 6, Breakfast at Sea Garden, watching waves. then to Cape Leuwin for winery tour.. then to cheese and choc factories.. back to Fremantle

Day 7, King's Park, Murray st, harbour town, cottlesloe beach etc. We put our bags at the AIrport's baggage lockers before returning the van, so we didn't have to carry them to walk ard.. not exp.. and very convenient. Left for airport after dinner.

When it's late, try not to drive, very dangerous, bcos of the animals and lesser st lights. And perth city itself closes early, and there are some unsavory characters ard.. My DH was deliberately knocked into by some young punk. You can ask the hotels or restaurants that u patronise to call cabs for u, much safer..

How much did you spend on the campervan? Was it comfortable? U had difficulty finding the campervan parks?

Oh.. and thanks for the warnings.. will surely take note of them.

                        :celebrate:
