To be on the safe side, it is better to get recommendations . 🙂

Hi, I do agree and is also looking if anyone has a good and responsible piano teacher to recommend...we are residing in the east n only looking for home visit. Thanks!

Totally agreed. Currently have one which I am quite fed up with, keeping changing timing and lately forgot the lesson totalling, leaving us waiting for her. :x

I'm also residing in the east near near katong, east coast area. Anyone care to recommend one good and responsible one?

Looking for piano teacher for pre-school boys, absolute beginners, teacher who is willing to travel to Ghim Moh/Holland Village area..

Wish to try out lessons for a month during December school holidays to see if they are interested in it and want to continue.

Ability to interact with young children more important than other technical skills 🙂

            hi 3boysdad,

my children have a piano teacher now. you might want to consider.

and yes, having a teacher who forgets about her lessons is quite irresponsible.

let me know if you would like her contact. will pm it to you. 🙂

                      hi,

i would say taking jmc is useful for music appreciation purposes. my children went for jmc too at yamaha. i enrolled them to see if they like music or playing the piano. it's only after they said they were interested that i got a private piano teacher to prepare them for grade 1 onwards.

individual lessons is better if you want to prepare them for exams, but if you want see if they are interested in music, then group classes at yamaha should be fine.

                      hope this helps. 🙂
