Hi TAS,
I managed to find some Anthony Horowitz’s books in the library. However, they are not the titles as recommended by you. Realised they are from this series known as "Diamond Brothers story". Do you recommend them ? They seem to be easy reads. Some titles include :
1. The blurred man
2. The French confection
3. South by south east
Also found a book by Margaret Peterson Haddix titled "Sabotaged". Is this suitable for a p3 reader?
Appreciate your advice. Thanks! -

The series on the Diamond brothers is not too bad. The reason why
we did not recommend it is because the plots do not really
show a child how to build tension and the stories are a bit 'slapstick'.
However, the vocabulary is still not too bad and I would
recommend it if your child is in P3 or P4 like you mentioned.
The book Sabotaged is very interesting. It is the third book so far
in a series which feature children who are adopted. They start
to receive mysterious letters one day which tell them that
they are one of the 'missing' and they have to be careful.
Then they discover people who come into their lives
mysteriously and disappear mysteriously as well.
It is very intriguing but it is meant more for upper primary
to secondary school kids.

Hi TAS,
Do you have more of the Conspiracy series, the kids like it. Also I would like to order more books by Chris Ryan, any new titles of his to recommend? Another series that my kids like is Andrew Lost, if there are new titles, could you recommend? Xie xie! One last thing, would you be free to come down next Wednesday to bring some of these books down to the school? -
Thanks so much TAS !

Yes, we have Conspiracy June and July as well. There are currently no
new titles for Chris Ryan, have you gotten Outbreak? For Andrew Lost,
there are also no new titles, this series is quite old and I do not think
they are coming up with more titles. We are not free this Wednesday
but would be free the following Monday instead. How many
books would you be ordering for your classes?

Hi TAS,
What do you think of Enid Blyton books, my younger one is now reading them, there seems to be a revival of her books…are they good to help in writing? -

Enid Blyton books are very interesting. However, the vocabulary used
in her books are not very descriptive. Hence, a child would not be
able to really pick out good vocabulary phrases from her books.
