Was just going to ask you gals if you have received any letter as orientation is 2 weeks away. I haven't received anything yet. Sorry for not being on the forum as I have been busy with the 4 kids and having maid issues...

Hopefully my letter will come by this week.

Hi noixlml,

The letter should be reaching you soon. Orientation starts at 530pm and ends at 730pm or maybe slightly later. The booklist will be given that day, but actual purchase for books and uniforms will be on Wed 24 or 26th Nov...which is my daughter's 6th birthday. :love:

My 1st posting here. My dd will be in P1 nxt yr and we hv a blue form to fill in abt our pref for our dd to attend or not to attend Catechism.

From a protestant point of view, i am totally not sure what this entails? Cd someone with older kid/s at e school pls explain.

eg.
a)-does it mean that my dd will be exposed to moral teachings/ Bible verses/ mini-sermons/ prayers/ & singing of hymns & choruses during assembly times, ie in the mornings (which is wot my son gets at his school rt now.)

b)-or will they meet separately at another time each week to have a Catholic religious studies class....?

c)- or something else?

I'd just like to know for sure what i am signing her up for

P.S. My darling will be a 'Rose' nxt year... any other Roses out there to make friends with? :))

Could it be our registration falls under Phase 2A...which is why our gals are in Hibiscus. Daisy seems to be the 'first' class for Phase 1 (I think).
We gotta get each other's contact, in case my blur daughter forgets what the teacher says. :grphug:

Hiya Janet. Mine was Phase 2B and balloted at that. Yah yah we must get each other's contact cuz my talkative queen will prob be talking and not listening to the teacher :roll: Will see you gals at orientation too!
