Hi, need feedback from experienced mummies.

Currently, I am looking for a CC for my 4yo boy (will be in K1 next year). The one that I am interested in does not do weekly English spelling at all, not even in K2. The centre mgr said their spelling is done rather informally when learning phonics and she said it’s effective.
Will my DS struggle when he enters P1 and weekly spelling is a routine?
Is it a norm or exception for kindys and CC to give weekly spelling?

Yes, most of us nags because we hav no choice. That is y I'm looking for \"help\" from someone who can teach them to be more responsible and concentrate. If I continue nagging like that....I think I probably aged faster than my mom... 😢

Anyone heard of mindschamp or something quite similar?

          Does it work??

Who likes to nag ? Given a choice, I rather keep quiet. Nag at son to bathe, take his lunch, get homework done but write nicely…pack his school bag/tidy up. It’s a daily affair.

Kids now are NOT stupid…in fact they are very much cleverer than us when we were their age. My son does his homework in school so that he doesn’t have homework. There was once he got punished for doing that…during Maths lesson while teacher was teaching, he did his Science homework. Needless to say, his teacher called me to complain after punishing him. All his crazy antics every year.

Hi, I am new here. I need help from expert mummies.

My daughter is going to P1 next year at Park View Primary School but as I can see that this school is very unpopular among Kiasu mummies plus my daughter is also very lazy when it comes to her studies but she is very energetic when it comes to play. I am thinking of getting the help of after school CC for her. My husband and I are both working and I am afraid that we don’t have time to teach her proper study habit. Most often we are all so tired after a long day from work.

Do you have any recommendation for after school CC?

 I know what you mean. When I was still working my MIL and hubby's aunt took care of my kids. They indulge them in the time taken to eat their dinner. Last time, my MIL would bring my DD to the playground to feed her. Hopefully I can train my 3rd one to eat fast as well 😄
