              Hi cool hi

Thanks for ur info. May I know how old is ur gal when u enrolled her to CMA? My son only 3yrs +.

              Hi TUANG,
My daughter's teacher is Teacher Wei..& in case you need more information, my daughter attends class on Sat 2.30pm..

the admin staff there are also very friendly & approachable..
To save u the trouble, u can call them at 62670028, to ask for the class timings which Teacher Wei teaches.
When u can decide on the timing, can call them to reserve, then go on actual day to register ๐Ÿ™‚

Any questions can PM me or post here ๐Ÿ™‚
After u enrol, hope u can PM me your child's details, K?
              Thanks in advance ๐Ÿ™‚
              MY girl's name: Annalyn Teo
              Student ID: SG 0011042

              Hi TUANG,
Sorry for late reply..My girl was 4years 8mths when she joined CMA..Think it's a bit late..I should have enrolled her much earlier..the recommended age is ard 4 years old, or when the child is able to write from 1 to 10 & able to follow instructions..They will provide a free assessment for your child to check whether the child is ready for class..If your child is not ready, just wait till he/she is ready..Don't rush ๐Ÿ™‚

                Hi all

Does anyone here know whether is it really necessary to memorise the formulas for good/bad friends, neighbour and brother. My DS just calculate them "naturally".

                Thanks

Hi, I didnโ€™t force my son to, and he made it through without having to memorize all those. Just ensuring he is familiar with the compositions of 5 and 10, and when to add and when to minus is enough. It becomes automatic.

The teacher want us to let him memorise, if dun memorise now, will be pretty difficult in future. He got stuck sometimes, and when teacher ask him, he doesnโ€™t know how to answer, and tatโ€™s why teacher is concern about his formula.

It does sound challenging when it comes to answering the teacher. However, if he knows his steps and is able to give the correct answer confidently, the teacher will often let him move on without pressing him to memorize.

He'll need lots of practice at home to get through this stage. It is a very critical stage, so you probably need to spend more time with him in coaching to set a good foundation - and to be very patient ๐Ÿ™ all the best! It is indeed a challenging stage for the little ones.
