Hi Mummy58,
I'm so happy to learn your daughter did so well. :celebrate:
My son told me his teacher told the class someone scored 100 for Science :!: that child must have grasped the concepts very well and replied straight to the point. Really super !!! -

Another interesting thing ...Jennifer:
Very anxious to know the results too. My boy is on MC since ytd.
dd's P1 Maths result already out yesterday. as usual for kids, few careless mistakes here and there but still managed to get high 90s.. still not too bad....i think her class's standard quite high, i believe one third or half the class scored 90 and above...gather from what dd told me and some guess work on my part...haha.....
My dd told me 2 of the classes for English the top 3 student are all girls.
Teacher told them that it is not because girls are smarter but because they check their work more thoroughly.
So those with ds in P1 and P2 must encourage your ds to check more carefully.
I personally think a lot of the boys will catch up in P3. :celebrate: -

I am going to check out the class photos  see is it really more girls in the top classes.
My hope to hv my boy in a better class next year seems very dim now. He did not do well in the MA paper. Already told him so many times to triple check his work, but he blatantly refused to do so :x -

and so happy that i can finally take a break....dd got band 1 for all her subjects, top 3 in class for maths, top 2 for HCL, english not confirm yet but i don't think she can get top 3.....really so happy..... -
Wow, Jennifer, your ds's class already knows Maths score, mine not yet. Don't be disheartened, the scores have dropped significantly for this level, so you will never know till you see the report book. Mine knows her EL paper 2, CL paper 2 and Science. EL and Science not bad, but CL, as expected...should be band 2 this year. One thing, her CL teacher this year not as 'ON' as her last year teacher, so is her pte tutor (aka me).

Thanks....Time files so fast. One year ago, I was worrying whether she could cope with her studies, esp HCL. More worries for me when she missed some of the papers during SA1. And now, she will be finishing her P1 soon and there comes P2......so fast, so fast.....
