6am? Isn’t that too early? Maybe would go as usual like 8am to quene up & get any slot. Need to check from NAFA whether can quene 1 time instead of the siblings which fall on separate day.

My 2cents on queuing strategy 😉

          registration starts at 9am isit?
So you if start queuing at 6am, would have to wait at least 3 hours to register. Good chance to get your preferred slot. Should go earlier if you've very specific time slot in mind.

If you reach say at 8am, the queue would be snaking then, for sure. When would you reach the registration counter? I can't say for sure but my guess is easily a 2 hours wait? And end up with whatever leftover convenient time slot

If you're not particular about timing at all, then probably should go even later, the bottle neck would clear by then and you can be spare the long wait and register quickly

What time did you go previously ?

My dh went around 6am (2 years ago) and there were already a small crowd :!:

No choice, we wanted very specific time slot. Furthermore need to register both kids at same time slot.

I went very late... cos I forgot.

I think I got there after 12.30pm or something (did mention in my earlier post in this thread 👅 ) and there were only Friday classes left; I was practically among the last few parents left in the registration room. Quite funny, the teachers were trying to see if the remaining parents could take either of the 2 Friday classes, and somehow, they more or less managed to fit everyone in (or maybe some didn't take eventaully). 😄

Still, I did have to wait at least an hour for my turn, despite getting there so late. Remember that it was the day when this Singaporean lady who was killed in Mumbai was being reported in the news. I sort of caught up with the news while waiting for my turn to register DD. Very sad.

Are Fri afternoon classes the least popular? Which are the more popular day/timeslots?

The friday afternoon classes were subsequently added. They were not offered in the letter that the school sends to parents.

Is this still the case for this year?

In that case go for Friday better, at least sure get a slot as compare to the weekends. There are 2 public holidays in 2011? In that case those who registered it will get 18 session instead of 20 session?
