E3, should i let my dd works on P3/P4 assessment books on Chinese? I hope it wouldn't frighten her away....Comprehension O & E and Composition are always the killing parts......

P1 do P4 work, P2 do P5/6 work. Then what's she going to do when she's in P3? :lol: -

If your dd is one who has been doing assessments a year ahead, then it shouldn't be a problem. My dd did the one ζζ―ι θ―»η解ι«ζ (Comprehension Champion). This book has questions focussed on asking only own opinions and analytical questions. The only problem is there will be some characters that she had not learnt but understanding is still fine.

From what I had gathered from her class practises, they are writing the compo like a full compo although it was just based on one picture. Yah, it must be tough if a mum feels that she's closer to one of her kids. Then the guilty feeling may set in and she may wonder whether any of these is due to her own actions. Modern parents are taught to treat all children equally but this is easier said than done, though consciously we all try to be as fair as possible to our kids.
I am VERY guilty of spoonfeeding...my bonding with son emotionally is stronger than daughter, being the first-born and having medical problem...actually lots of mixed feelings although I try not to play favouritism. Both are my children. -

for CL / EL enrichment / tuition, better do one level higher
even for sec school like SMSS, sec 2 uses sec 3 EL etc -
