The Alternative Story (TAS) - Discussion

Hi hquek, wywy2, quirkymum and LLtan,
Thank you for your encouragement in our search for a bigger place.
We are in the midst of finalizing everything and we can probably let
you and other parents know through our website and our thread
at the markertplace at ksp forum in about 2 -3 weeks the
details of our confirmed location.
Right now, there is a very high possibility that we will move
to Ang Mo Kio central. (Only if some HDB approval for the
unit to be used as a tuition centre issue is not settled then
we would have to look for another place)
We will also open more classes there as the classrooms there
will be slightly bigger and so we can take in more students.
Once things are more or less confirmed, we will also post up
the new classes available at the North branch on our
website.

Hi stetan,Oh...please do not move away from Yishun....it will be very inconveniently for me even if you are beside AMK mrt.
If you do have the intention to do so, please do inform us early as we may have to make alternative decisions.
Really sorry about this, we have tried to look in different parts of
Yishun for another place (Central, Chong Pang etc). However,
many of the units are either too small or too expensive. Hence,
we had no choice but to look at the Ang Mo Kio area.
We have started to inform our parents of this. Tentatively, we will
move earliest at the end of January (2011) or latest the beginning
of March (2011).
Our lease is actually not up for a few more months. However, since
we found an ideal unit available, we decided to get it first and so we
are moving our centre earlier than expected.
However, no matter what, we needed to move out of that unit in
Yishun Ave 11 as it has gotten too small for us.
We will post up the information of our new centre's location and
address on our website and on the ksp forum in 2-3 weeks time.
However, while our move to Ang Mo Kio is highly probable, we
cannot guarantee it as we still are in the midst of finalizing some
details.

I'm sure this location would be much better if its confirmed as it is really very central. -

I am just curious, did you ever consider keeping your existing Yishun branch and expand your operation by shifting your office to AMK? remember your initial supporters are from Yishun... -

That would be ideal of course, however, we do not have enough
teachers to run 4 centres. And our lease will be expiring and
the place is too small hence we have no choice but to move.

Hi TAS
since you will be moving to a bigger place, can you consider opening a class purely for creative writing esp for higher primary? -
Hi TAS,
If you are opening new classes for your north location, which days will it be? I heard that once you have 4 students of that level, you can start? I am interested in P4 (2011) and P2(2011). -
Hi TAS,
Hoping you could also open another class for P4 (2011) for my child. I heard from your administrator that your existing class on Sunday is full and I can't make it for your friday class. Hence, I would really appreciate if you could open another class for P4s?

We actually do not have such classes. However, for the North Branch
since we are opening the most classes there, we might consider it.
If we have 4 pupils of the same level wanting only creative writing, we
might start one.
Presently, we have 3 more classes opening at Yishun:
1) Sunday 11.50 am - 1.50 pm (P1-2011)
2) Sunday 11.50 am - 1.50 pm (no fixed level yet)
3) Sunday 11.50 am - 1.50 pm (no fixed level yet)
The 2 classes with no fixed levels would open once
there are at least 4 students of the same level
wanting to join that particular class.
