        hi,

does anyone knows if RGPS students stand a higher chance of getting into RGS? I know the schools are not affiliated but was wondering if anyone knows which secondary school do most of RGPS students move on to. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The answer to your first question is no. As for the second one, I dunno..

                Many thanks for this.

Considering this is one of the top pri schs with the best PSLE grades, am wondering if it is by choice that most choose not to go to RGS or that competition is simply too intense..

Actually quite a number make it to RGS. The single largest population of students in RGS based on the primary school they came from is RGPS.

I remember during my times, most of the girls were from either RGPS or HPPS.

                      Hi RGPS mummies

Do you know where do most of the other main stream (non E/F and GEP) girls go after P6? Based on the P6 briefing it seems that most of them go to Cres and St Marg's. Is that accurate?

Based on statistics provided by the school, most of the girls go to Crescent and St Margarets. Very few actually end up at SCGS although some applied, because of the high cut off point.

Extracted from Page 14 of this thread.
Do refer back to that page ๐Ÿ˜„

one would expect most of RGPS girls to make it to RGSโ€ฆbut competition being so stiff with COP at 260 or above, how many 260 does RGPS produce every year ?

would RGS ask RGPS to change name ?
