Someone blogging about the incident...

      & her comments ain't nice...

      http://annrants.blogspot.com/2010/11/about-darren-ng-wei-jie-incident.html

      Her language is bad.....*frown*

This is common language for them & this is the type of language I'm facing everyday at work.

Seriously, I learn alot of new vulgarities from the kids everyday!
Yes, I had stumbled across some young mummies' blogs for their babies and gosh! The F words and other vulgarities were used freely too!!

Honestly, I'm less disturbed by the language than the message she was trying to bring across - that people only care about a person's death out of hypocrisy. It's too cynical a view for a young soul to put forth.

In fact if they behave like that on the streets with the language and mindset, I will no longer be surprised if other hot-blooded youths respond to it like the 369 gang.

I am not sure if there is an increase of such youths but internet certainly brings across many examples through their blogs. What is the point of going through tertiery education and not learn the art of living? And as Chief has put it, at times it is at the expense of being infamous to get traffic to their blogs... that is also another warped value.

Same. I'm stunned by her cynicism. Is it the generational gap? Are our young so lost different from us?

There is a post in which she complained about having spent $21.5 for cabfare to the poly, but it was for the wrong day, so she felt she should get some compensation. Why this sense of entitlement? She could be that teacher who sued MOE all over again.

I was offline and seems like a blessing in disguise, to miss the vulgar words used in some article.

Watched the news on CNA last night and found it rather disturbing that his friends were harrassing the reporters as the hearse passed. The reporters were just doing their job right ? :? Why must the youngsters be doing things like that ???

Anyway, I'm glad that the youths have been charged formally and they have been shamed. It's so ridiculous those youths are out to make trouble by bringing choppers around. :x

Scenario one - Overheard at McD drive-in - young girl asked her bf: \"why stupid McD breakfast extend only until 12 noon during weekends? We were out all night and I want to sleep in and eat breakfast at 3pm, cannot meh?\"

Scenario two - I wanted to take leave and my boss said to me: \"your leave is an entitlement, not a privilege, please don't abuse it.\"

Wait till these youngsters grow up and waddle waist deep in corporate bs.
