      Hi everyone,

I received my orientation pack, my dd will be in P1 Joy next year. I don't think they have banding in P1 since the classes are already allocated.

Any mummies with dd in P1 Joy next year? 😄
My younger ger will be in P1 Devotion next year. No banding in P1 .. the class will move up together to P2.

            Hi All!

My little girl is in P1 Grace next year!! So excited!

            RE: PARKING
Don't think, we will be allow to park in the school due to limited space.
Just wonder, where can we park?
            Anyone can enlighten me?

            RE: SCHOOL SHOE
Are there any limits to what kind of school shoe?
Is it strictly shoe-lace type or there is no restriction?

            Thanks in advance!

                happy me:

                Dear mistrymum,

May I know what is the problem that you have encountered? Can share with us? Wow...I think must have caused you alot of headache if not will not let your child take MRT. It is a long journey back home yah. Yes, I am stressed over the timing in the morning as it maybe too early for my child. My child is used to taking school bus. H/w hubby wants to send her on his own. My husband drives super fast and I am also worried. He has tried taking just 25 mins to dr from woodlands down to SMPS.
Busy with PSLE ... no COP but also must get good grades.

Like the other mummy mentioned, CCA bus leaves school about 4.30pm and my girl used to be home by 5.15pm.

This year, my girl was ask to take Yishun or Woodlands or Bt Batok/Hillview depending on the number of girls on the bus !!!! My poor girl ever arrived home after 6pm. I have highlighted the issue with RS, then they put her on the Yishun bus (arriving home around 5.45pm) but after a while, it happens all over again. Now by MRT, my girl takes less than 1 hr to reach home (including the walk down from the school). My regular bus uncle (BUS 28 ) is good.

The SMPS girls are very indpendent and many do travel home/tuition by themselves. I do keep track of my girl whereabouts with the handphone. Like she already on the MRT , who is she walking down with.

                  Hi happy me,

I do drive my girl to school when the need arise, esp this year.

I would leave CCK (via woodlands road. KJE, BKe, PIE and exit stevens Rd) before 6.40am, I can reach the SMPS around 7.10am with no traffic jams. This is a Blessing if it happens. There is always heavy traffic at the BKE/PIE exit, Steven Exit and outside SMPS.

                  cheers,
