Am thinking of hiring a current teacher via a friend .Yet to find out more.I basically need a person that is consistent wif my child in revising cos I usually only do wif him one week before exam , something like crash course.This time, he missed his 90s.Pulled down by compre, cos I overlooked.

Compo and oral were ok cos I have been coaching and guiding hime.There are two weeks before the main paper, so time is sufficient.I focus too much time on math.

Overall his sa2 results unchanged, which is not a good sign, cos should be better.

Did you manage to sort out all the pri six notes that is passed over?

I have tons of it from friends, and really dont know what is good and what is not.Can share how u sort it out?

Some repeated assessment that we had, I also dont know how to dispose.
There are many math , sci, eng , chinese worksheet too.All already done, dont know for chinese, should I keep it, but I dont think I have the time to look back.

A few parents / tutors I've spoken to, advise me to let my DS R&R for 2 weeks and start to work on something beginning December.

Not yet. My nephew past over majority were assessment books.

Science
So far I only selected some open and end questions from the Upper Block Science 3-in-1 to review through with dd before the SA2 Exam.

I think I will go through the rest and selected some \"unusual\" MCQ and open and end question and let her try it.

Maths
We will work on 'Use of Heuristics in Problem Solving - Andrew Er which I found is quite good.


CL
Will look for some good answer as reference for those questions that require to using your own word.


I still prefer to work on past year papers.

For chinese, am looking at the compre section.At times, if the passage is too hard, it also defeat the purpose.

Are you working on A star series booklet this hol?
DS percentage topic badly done for the last section in the booklet, think forgotten all the concept.

We have been doing it since P3 and so far I found this method is workable except maths have to do additional to learn various methods.

For CL compre, I have coached dd on some important key words and relevant phrases to attempts those questions that require using on your answer words.

May be this is the school policy. In this case have to continuous work on both area since it is almost half the total marks.
