      Hi Eskimo,

We stayed in Theme Park Hotel, Family Room. Its huge & spacious for the kids to run around. There's 2 queen-sized bed in each room compartment separated by the bathroom/toilet. Ermm.. dunno how to describe leh. Yap. recommended for families, as not so crowded than First world, fast checkin & out too. I see first world hotel lobby, i faintz... so crowded, but i must say first world is very convenient. 🙂

However, if u frequent Casino, then theme park hotel may be abit far.
For us, we only go when the kids are alseep at night, so still OK.

          Hi rykiel,

I let my 5yo boy wear normal t-shirt material long sleeve & jeans/cargo long pants, when outdoor jus pullover a windbreaker jacket with hood.

During my trip on 25-27 Sep 2010, it was quite sunny, so rather warm. In fact i thought a short sleeve T shirt will do too.

Any idea if its worth going to genting in late dec for their theme park? How’s the weather there then, is it rainy season? My kids wanted to go to the theme park there and I saw that they have strawberry & mushroom farms there which is worth going. As for the hotels, which would you recommend? Prefer deluxe rooms with king sized beds but there seems none. Is first world hotel’s club room worth it? Is the check in quicker? Any comments is greatly appreciated.

            TIA, Marmum

Went there a few years back in late December.

The temperature was 16 deg C!
Was quite wet but enjoyed ourselves.

Anyone took plane to kl then transfer via land to genting? which airline is better? If drive up from sin, how long it takes?

The coach buses have toilet or not? Also any advise if the sup. deluxe at First World Hotel has separate check in and breakfast? Can’t get rooms for Christmas period. Any advise where I can put up other that First World that is near perhaps the strawberry park?

If self drive, it takes about 5 hrs. It is better to take coach (door to door, no transfer needed) than plane coz KL airport is far away from town.

coach bus no toilet unless it is transtar, I think.

I heard to check in First World Hotel, you got to take a queue no. & wait for the no. to be called. It can take up to 2 hrs.

If you can’t get rooms for Christmas on your own booking, perhaps you can try booking through agencies like Grassland, WTS, Konsortium etc.
Prices are expected to be very high.

All hotels are not near strawberry park. It is located at low hill.

                    Hi

I am going to Genting for a 4D3N stay with my 3 kids aged 4 and 6. Besides the indoor and outdoor theme parks and the strawberry and mushroom farms, are there anything else that the kids could do?
